regional events & qualifiers: 2004
adults | juniors | masters | qualifying tipsheet | results

Qualifying competition is REQUIRED to participate in the 2003 35th U.S. National Singles Championship in Houston, Texas — without exception. But whether or not you plan to go on to Houston, you’ll want to take part in the largest nationwide event of the year! By doing so, you’ll accumulate premium Level Four ranking points plus earn seeding consideration at “The Finals” if you decide to step up.

WAIVERS: All legitimate waivers of qualifying competition at any of these events must be approved prior to the scheduled regional weekend. All waivers must be directed to – and approved by – the USRA Headquarters. Individual regional tournament directors may not approve exclusions from play, for any reason.

The Women's Senior/Master Championship and the NMRA Masters Singles Championships are recognized "regional qualifiers" for the purpose of qualifying their 45-and-over participants for competition in the National Singles in Houston. Please note that all 35+ and 40+ players must still qualify through a regularly scheduled regional event, and that all other stipulations remain in force — you must compete in (not merely enter) the qualifying event, age requirements, etc.
